Sustainable Events Guides with Manchester City Council

Climate change is one of the most urgent issues facing us today and leaves no corner of the planet untouched. It’s clear from the increasing floods, wildfires and other weather-related disasters that the effects are taking place right now. In response to this global issue, Manchester City Council set the ambitious target in 2018 of becoming a zero carbon city by 2038.

These 7 sustainable events guides were created in collaboration between JB and Manchester City Council as part of our ongoing C-Change Programme. So if you organise events in Manchester and indeed any other city in the UK, please use our guides to review your activity, share good practice and help to make Manchester and other cities across the UK zero carbon by 2038.

Event organisers, suppliers, service providers and venues can download free guides for the following areas:

This activity and these resources are part of our wider Creative Climate Cities Programme and if you are interested in being kept in the loop, do sign up for our monthly newsletter and select ‘Creative Climate Cities’ as area of interest.
