The content of this guide is based on several masterclasses and individual support provided by Julie’s Bicycle to the Mapped Out project participants in 2013-2016. 

Mapped Out was funded through Arts Council England’s Strategic Touring Programme. 

Formulated by music development agency Generator, the project worked on the professional development of promoters across the UK with a focus on traditionally underserved areas. The programme supported 12 national tours as well as providing promoters with job shadows with established promoters, networking meetings and promoter master-classes covering digital marketing, principles of design, environmental sustainability, and brand building.
