Why we exist People Paul Crossley Paul joined Julie’s Bicycle in May 2018, to work with the team embedding sustainability and environmental management into artistic and cultural organisations. He has an Environmental Management degree and is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. Paul has worked in a wide variety of organisations, from sustainable building restoration to environmental consultancy in the NHS, construction, commercial and social housing sectors. He was Chairman of Frank Water Projects, lived in Italy and south America as a conservation volunteer, and also worked as the studio assistant for London-based artist Nathaniel Rackowe. Most recently, he developed sustainability projects for London South Bank University, from food waste recycling to energy and water efficiency, and also helped develop an app enabling students to re-use unwanted items across campus.
