Working group
The core purpose of the Working Group is to identify recommendations and champion actions across the music industry that will lead to the development of a low carbon industry.
The Working Group will negotiate achievable cross-industry reduction strategies and identify key levers for influence across the supply chain.
A key part of the Working Group is the promotion of new and innovative enterprises; Julie’s Bicycle has already become a hub for innovative business solutions for energy reduction: transportation, travel, cd manufacturing and packaging, branding and recycling. Through the Working Group, Julie’s Bicycle provides a route to mass markets, a distribution network, an investment and enterprise sounding board and provides access to credible industry appraisal. This catalytic enterprise role is key to the recommendations, solutions and functionality of the Working Group.
The Working Group will provide the most authoritative and informed proposals for remodelling the music industry as low carbon. These recommendations will be published and disseminated within the industry and to other significant bodies (government, NGO’s, scientists and business).
