Tyler GT

The Tyler GT, designed by Tyler Truss Systems, is providing eco-friendly trussing for the live industry. As one of the first innovations looking into sustainable trussing, the Tyler GT works on reducing the requirements for trucking as the units can be loaded up with the required lighting equipment and then easily stored without the need for bulky cases.

The truss itself is made out of aluminium, of which 70% is recycled from scrap. By eliminating the excess raw materials, and then by reducing the amount of labour required to move and install the units, the Tyler GT creates a domino effect on how much space is needed to store it!

Dodd Technologies – also owned by Managing Director Mark Dodd, who also works for Tyler Truss – will be releasing an LED wall product in 2010 which will provide the same benefits as the Tyler GT. The wall product will provide a large, bright and energy efficient display for both indoors and outdoors use.
