Creative Green Awards Shortlist Announced

Announcing the first Julie's Bicycle Creative Green Awards and the shortlist of creative organisations and events representing the cultural sector's outstanding efforts to embed environmental action.

Running since 2009, our Creative Green certification enables venues, museums & galleries, festivals and offices to assess their environmental commitment, understanding and improvement.

The Awards, which celebrate over 50 arts organisations undertaking Creative Green certification in 2016/17, are testament to the inspirational commitment of creative and cultural organisations throughout the UK to sustainability.

With over 250 Creative Green certificates awarded to date this is the only scheme designed specifically for the cultural sector.

The winners will be announced at a Creative Green Awards ceremony presented by Caroline Lucas, Co-Leader of the Green Party and MP for Brighton Pavilion, at the iconic Somerset House on Tuesday 25th April 2017.
