How converted plonk helps Prince Charles go green

How has Prince Charles adpted a greener lifestyle? Well his household’s carbon footprint has been reduced by 18% according to a report from the Duchy of Cornwall 

- His 38 year old Aston Martin sports car runs on converted British wine (bioethanol)

- His other cars - Jauguars, Audi and a Range Rover - run on used cooking fat & oil

- Woodship boilers are used

- Rainwater is harvested and used to flush toilets

- Staff have bicycles provided at St James Palace in London

- He has switched his households to green electricity

- He tries to travel more efficiently using scheduled services

- £23,000 was spent on carbon offsets as part of a £600,000 sustainability budget
