Free fan travel boosts Belgian festival eco-efforts

Fans going to Pukkelpop in Belgium, who have already been able to take advantage of free train travel to the 50,000 capacity festival, will now be able to take a free bus from anywhere in the country, following an expansion of the event’s green efforts. This year’s festival, headlined by the Killers, Manic Street Preachers, Editors, Sigur Ros, Flaming Lip and Soulwax, will also be reusing rainwater in the water systems and introducing solar panels to provide some of the on-site power.
