The goal of the conference is to initiate and give place to a debate among those who are involved in cultural and arts management in Hungary who think that well-trained professional arts managers are especially needed today, who are capable of giving high quality services. It aims to show the latest trends and questions in the field of arts and business through numerous presentations on one hand, and on the other hand to present a new publication (textbook) which may be considered as a pioneer initiative in the education of arts management.

In the field of arts and business the conference focuses on those two areas that currently form our everyday life and usual habits and hopefully the way we look at our life and future: sustainable development and the preservation of our environment and opportunities for culture given by the era of digital change, new digital technologies and the new media.
