Orchestras Touring Report Launched at Royal Festival hall
Julie's Bicycle launched its report investigating the carbon impacts of UK orchestras touring on July 3rd - a beautiful summer's night during the Science + Art Festival at the Southbank Centre. JB Director Alison Tickell spoke alongside the Southbank Centre's Artistic Director Jude Kelly. The occassion also marked the 350th Anniversary of the Royal Society, and the European premiere of Icarus at the edge of time with muisc by Phillip Glass set to the writing of physicist Brian Green.
